A day in the life of a valuer…..Automobiles (at last) Being a valuer you get to see and complete valuations on many things. This week I have the chance to value some Italian Super Cars. Do you feel the need to be a superstar?  Fancy the deep throaty roar of a Lamborghini Gallardo? Not your scene?  How about a 2017 Maserati Levante, with under 3000klm? Or maybe more my scene, a Landcruiser Prado? So this week we not only get to value these, but we are also selling them. Interested – have a look at our web page www.liquidassets.net.au #expertvaluer #plantandmachineryvaluer #expertplantvaluer #expertwitnessvaluer #plantvaluer #expertequipmentvaluer [gallery ids="15956,15964,15968,15972,15982"]...

[foogallery id="15389"] A day in the life of a valuer….. Well my last installment was about Planes (a Jet anyway!) so it is only fitting this one is about Trains, or at least rail maintenance.  This venture had me completing a valuation on some Rail Tampers and Ballast Regulators.  These machines are used for track maintenance, where the Tamper in simple terms lifts the rail track, shakes and re-settles the ballast (train track bed of stones) and then places the tracks back on top of the ballast.  The Ballast Regulator then comes along behind the Tamper and much like a road grader smooths the ballast away from the rails and sleepers, leaving it like new. The odd thing here is, if you didn’t know, is that our forefathers had some strange ideas on rail tracks and we have different size gauges (width of the tracks) across the country….in simple terms you cannot use the same machine in Victoria, as say one in NSW! If you want to know more about this, have a look at the link below. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rail_gauge_in_Australia #expertvaluer #expertmachineryvaluer #plantandmachineryvaluer #plantvaluer #expertequipmentvaluer #expertwitnessvaluer    ...

With the exit of the car industry, and offshoring of many other manufacturing industries, the Australian Manufacturing Industry looked dire and in need of some intensive care.  However it has proven itself to be more resilient and innovative than first thought.  The recent Commonwealth Bank report in this sector indicates that the growth in the Manufacturing Industry is improving solidly and is now in expansion phase and growing.   This is a very positive outcome for the Australian Economy.  For more information visit Commonwealth Bank Manufacturers PMI report...
