We recently had the opportunity to value assets in the brand new Studios 301 in Sydney.  Some magic has been done here with the construction of a world class facility that has worked with current global stars such as Muse, Kanye West, Coldplay, Lana Del Rey, Matt Corby, Lady Gaga, Arcade Fire, Powderfinger, Bluejuice and Xavier Rudd.   The history component of the project is that some of the equipment we valued came out of the famous Abbey Road Studios in London.   The Beatles, Pink Floyd and The Hollies are just some of the bands that have recorded on the very same machines in Studios 301, that our budding artists in Australia are now using. Among the assets there is state of the art digital mastering equipment, analogue mixing consoles and speakers that can punch out a clean crisp tune louder than a jet engine! Also part of the offering at Studios 301, is the capacity to digitise old “tapes” and all other classic audio mediums retaining more Australian music and sound history for Libraries and various government institutions.
